WorleyParsons is recruiting Buyers in Lagos, who will be purchasing and general procurement administrative responsibilities for pipelines, in the sourcing, soliciting, purchasing, and order administration of equipment and material orders; performing follow-up activities and reporting in Company and client systems.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar position
* Experience in offshore oil projects in Nigeria or elsewhere
* Bachelor degree or relevant qualifications in the field of position applied for
* Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office,) and ability to learn new programs
* Practical experience in software relevant to the position
* Membership of a relevant professional body is a plus
* Ability to interact with all levels of management
* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to think logically and analytically in a problem solving environment
* Ability to plan, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Flexible attitude to work and sensitivity to business requirements
* Sense of dedication, attention to detail, desire to produce only the highest quality of work and an ability to consistently reach goals
